GRT Hot Glass Studios is a unique business in Indianapolis where you can come and create your own piece of hot glass artwork. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, our studio offers you a once in a lifetime creative experience.
GRT Hot Glass Studios offers a variety of afforadable, fun, memorable, and treasured experiences for those of all ages (10+) and experience levels! At GRT Hot Glass Studios, there is always somethig new to create and explore. Come join usfor experiences rangin from: Private Instruction, Seasonal Workshop Classes such as Hearts, Flowers, Pumpkins, Ornaments and more!
In this workshop our instructor with guide you through studio basics and safety and then give you a demonstration on the piece you will be making. Then you will have the opportunity to gather molten glass from a 2100-degree furnace. You will get to choose your colors and sculpt molten glass into a beautiful and unique creation of your own.

Private Hot Glass instruction is a customizable 2 hour lesson available for students from beginner to advanced level (ages 10 and up). This is a great way to develop skills fast. Lessons include equipment overview and safety, instructor demo and then student participation to create your own art piece(s).
Prices for Private Instruction are $120 for one individual, $180 for two, and $240 for a group of three.
In addition to our Private Instruction lessons, we also offer Private Group sessions for you and your friends and family to attend.Whether it’s a special occasion for a birthday, work gathering, family-get-together, or friend’s night out, we will make it an unforgetable experience. We just require at least 4 people to participate in group lessons.

We can accomodate group sizes as large as 20 people. GRT can provide tables for refreshments and/or any food you may want to bring.

The following are the policies regarding cancelling or rescheduling a reservation:
If You Have Booked Class Time Through Eventbrite or the Studio:
100% Refund with 7 or more days notice
0% Refunded with 6 or fewer days notice.
For Rescheduling or Cancellations:
4 or more days prior notice: No Fee
2-3 days prior notice: $25.00 fee
Same day notice: $50.00 fee
GRT reserves the right to retain the fee for your lesson if you choose to cancel or reschedule your lesson, if you do not show, or if you do not provide notice before your lesson.

Please note that the class is subject to cancellation if we do not meet the minimum participation number of 4 people. If this is the case, we will contact you about class enrollment via the email you use to sign up, so please be sure to check your email prior to your lesson. If you sign up for a class that does not meet minimum enrollment, we will reach out to you about rescheduling your lesson.
Bachelor of Fine Arts, Ball State Univeristy
Molly Lyons is a recent Ball State University graduate who obtained her Bachelor of Fine Art in Glass. She grew up in the small town of New Palestine before attending Ball State University. Through the Glick Center for Glass on Ball State’s campus, she participated in a summer intensive workshop at the Toledo Museum of Art, worked as a studio technician assistant, and taught Saturday morning glassblowing workshops through Minnetrista in Muncie. Outside of her art career, she enjoys hobbies such as traveling, hiking, and volunteering.
