Emily Webster

🔥Meet Emily!🔥

Indianapolis-based artist Emily is a visionary who holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Ball State University, specializing in glass. Her sculptural artwork seamlessly blends glass with mixed media such as light, video projection, and found objects, creating captivating optical illusions and new visual experiences. Her BFA Thesis show titled “Wandering Eye” delved deep into her unique perspective and interpretation of the world.

Beyond her artistry, Emily's love for exploration extends to her travels to numerous countries and visits to Art Museums worldwide, including iconic destinations from Rome to Amsterdam. Emily brings her diverse experiences and boundless creativity to her role as Studio Manager at GRT Hot Glass Studios, where her passion for the craft shows in every project. Emily is truly a gem in our studio, and we are grateful for the vibrancy and talent she brings to our team!

Frankie Viglietta

🔥Meet Frankie!🔥

Frankie is an Indianapolis-based artist who works primarily with glass and metal. She received her Bachelor of Arts with a glass concentration, from Ball State University in 2023. Frankie’s artistic practices manifest her interest in self-expression and transformation. Her graduating BA Thesis exhibition “The Balancing Act” is the material communication of emotion through blown glass, neon, metal, and mirrors.

Frankie previously worked at Sincerus Bronze Art Center, a metals foundry in Indianapolis. She is now a part of the GRT Hot Glass Studio team as the Event Coordinator, Social Media Manager, and instructor.

In her free time, she likes to be outside with friends and family, go antique shopping, and collect music records.
